Signs Your Cat May Need Evaluation

Cats are very good at hiding illness, which means even subtle changes can signal a medical problem.

You should schedule an exam if your cat is experiencing:

  • Weight loss or decreased appetite

  • Vomiting or diarrhea

  • Increased thirst or urination

  • Lethargy or decreased activity

  • Changes in grooming or coat quality

  • Breathing changes or coughing

These symptoms can be associated with common feline conditions such as kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or gastrointestinal illness.
